Cleerline SSF - Unlike the other brittle fiber cables on the market, all Bullet Train AOC Cables have Cleerline Fiber Optics inside. This provides ULTIMATE in strength, bend radius, pull tension and general durability. With Cleerline SSF’s proprietary polymer coated fiber cores these cables will last multiple lifetimes without breakage.
Patent Pending "L2H Optics" - "Low to high" is what we call our proprietary optical modulation method. Many AOC cables may perform well for high frequency/bandwidth applications, but simply fail when the signal bandwidth is too low. This is because most of the commonly available modules on the market are designed for high frequency data centers. HDMI is totally unique in that we need to be able to handle all legacy video formats as well as the cutting-edge ones. This means we need to handle low frequency.
Aluminum Head Shell - Bullet Train AOC cables use highly advanced optical transceivers that generate heat. In order to keep the electronics cool and operational for many lifetimes, we employ a lightweight, extremely fast heat dissipating aluminum.
Kevlar Threading - Running the length of each cable is braided Kevlar. This further adds to the pull strength and overall resilience of the cable. Ring-neck
Kevlar Grasp - Additional strength comes in the head shell in the form of a Patent Pending design that allows the Kevlar to be "tied off" either end, making it virtually impossible to damage the fiber. You will stretch the jacket before you ever remove a head from the cable.
Serial-Numbered Headshells – Both headshells are serial-numbered to enable fast, easy identification of signal paths between components. Serial numbers can be logged into cable legends, eliminating labor-intensive label marking.

Premium Active Optical HDMI Cables
All HDMI™ cables are not created equal. Bullet Train has developed cables built for mission critical environments where stability is key. By delivering data over Cleerline SSF fiber optics alongside copper wire, Bullet Train AOC Cables deliver 48Gbps and a high frame rate signal with much lower latency – up to 20% less than a passive copper HDMI cable. These cables are ISF (Imaging Science Foundation) Certified, the name to trust in picture quality and calibration. Tried and tested, and fully CMP/Plenum rated, Bullet Train cables are highly engineered to be a long lasting part of any audio/video system, and are CL2/CL3 rated for in wall Certified.
Active Optical Cables (AOC) function similar to an HDMI Extender, meaning they feature both a Transmitter (Source) Head and a Receiver (Display) Head. Because Active Cables have additional circuitry, they require additional power. Bullet Train AOC Cables use the 50mA of power provided by an HDMI Port. Some HDMI Ports may not provide the necessary amperage to operate an HDMI Head; for this, an additional 5V USB dongle may be required to provide supplemental amperage for the AOC Head.
